Here's more unused art from THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER with some back story. Initially, it was conveyed that Mjölnir needed to be drawn as if it was found in a 1930s style academic text book. Not having a lot to go with on that, I created a few versions of the hammers and made a few comps with placeholder text to riff on this idea. All of the information you see here is just me throwing in sample copy as a demo to support the art (in no way this is canon). The name of Tobias Selvig is a nod to both the character of Erik Selvig (Stellan Skarsgård) from the MCU, and the name Tobias was used because I had just finished a GHOST project and the name Tobias Forge was still fresh in my brain. The creative brief was later formalized to say it needed to feel more like a storybook/book of mythos illustration.

I was asked not too long ago to do some illustrations for the film THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER, which ultimately was not used in the final cut with them going with a different art style. However, here is some of the unused art that didn't make it into the film. Still honored to be asked. The second image pays homage to the King himself, Jack Kirby, with my take on his krackle and lighting bolts.

I just got alerted to this cool little fella' available from @vinegarsyndrome that uses my art from the SCARY OF SIXTY FIRST one sheet poster as the interior packaging for the film's trailer on a 35mm core. It's especially cool to me since I've been collecting 16mm film prints for almost 20 years now (I don't have the room in my house to collect 35mm reels, though 😭). Also, credit goes to @derekprints and @hauntlove for the art and design on the packaging. Nice work!

I guess the cat is out of the bag because I'm seeing these images now posted everywhere. Back in 2020 I was asked to create the Behind-the-Scenes crew shirts for The Book of Boba Fett production with the request that Boba be a buccaneer steering a pirate ship. I did this piece over a weekend after the season 2 finale of The Mandalorian, having only the after-credits scene as a costume reference. I even drew in a mythosaur skull (the Mandalorian emblem) on the front of the helm because why not?
Boba himself, @tem_morrison, has been spotted wearing his, which is pretty bad ass.
